Pumped Up for…

I am pumped up for…Football! Just finished reading the FOX NFL article called “Payback” featuring the tonight’s most anticipated rematch of the Saints and the Vikings. It’s going to be barnburner for sure and I won’t be anywhere other than in front of my TV starting at 7pm. Go Vikings!

I am pumped up for…Church! Just finished with the Horace Lutheran article called “Come back” featuring Sunday’s most anticipated event with Jesus center stage and his church flocking to hear His Word. It’s going to be a barnburner for sure and I won’t be anywhere other than Horace Lutheran Church in front a mass of Jesus worshipers starting at 10:30am on Sunday morning. Go God! It’s Round Up Sunday and it’s going to be a barnburner!

I don’t know what the outcome of tonight’s football game – I’m hoping for the best. I do know the outcome of Sunday’s event. I don’t have to hope for the best because I already know who is victorious. That’s what makes Sunday’s event even sweeter. Come and be a part of something great – worshiping the King of kings and Lord of lords on Round Up Sunday! Come pumped up and ready to worship!

Mission Forward

MISSION FORWARD – Update

Our latest report indicates that on July 11, 89 pledges were received for a total of $370,000 over the 3-year giving period for Mission Forward. This means we have surpassed 90% of our goal with about 30% of our congregation! To reach our goal of $400,000, we need the remaining 70% of our congregation to make a financial investment in Mission Forward. If you have not had the opportunity to give, we invite you to make a pledge today. Pledge forms can be found on the narthex counter. Simply fill the form out today and return it to the church office.
